Practice makes permanent! The more your student practices, the easier band class will be. Encourage them to practice their instrument and study their music for 10 minutes every night. Just like reading, it doesn't take a long period of time to improve, but it does require consistency. Practice logs are turned in every 2 weeks, with a minimum expected time of 120 minutes (unless otherwise discussed in class).

Effective Tuesday, Sept. 4, students will lose points for not bringing instruments to band class. Please see the band syllabus for more details.
